THOMAS A. BAUM
President, Bozzuto Development Company and Bozzuto Homes, Inc.
 
Tom is responsible for the development of an exceptional range of products, including high-rise, mid-rise and garden-style apartment communities; condominiums, town homes, single-family homes and residences designed for active adults 55+, as well as mixed use properties.

Tom joined Bozzuto Development Company in 2001 and was named President in April 2003. He assumed the additional responsibility of directing the successful homebuilding operations in 2006. He is also a Partner of The Bozzuto Group of companies.

A registered architect, Tom earned an undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Illinois and a master's degree in real estate development from Columbia University. He also attended the National Academy of Architecture in Versailles, France
 

     

 

OLIVE M.CHALMERS
Vice President of Homeowner Association and Settlement Services
Olive joined Bozzuto & Associates as a Project Accountant when the company was formed in 1988. Over the past twenty years Olive has been involved in many areas of the homebuilding industry including, customer service, sales and property management.  She has been involved with all of Bozzuto Homes, Inc. multifamily and single-family communities.

In Olive's current position as Vice President of Homeowner Association and Settlement Services, she works with and maintains a strong relationship with the many Condominium Associations that have transitioned from the control of the Developer.  Olive attended Business College in Dundee, Scotland where she obtained her Accounting Degree. She is a licensed Realtor and a member the Prince Georges Board of Realtors and the Washington Chapter of the Community Associations Institute. 

Olive is a native of Scotland and currently lives in Edgewater, Maryland.

     

TOM FOX
Vice President of Warranty Services

Tom has managed the Warranty Services Department for over 7 years. Through his father, Tom was able to work as a carpenters apprentice during the summers and college breaks. He operated his own home improvement business for several years before accepting a position as Supervisor for a national homebuilder.  Tom was responsible for the completion of over 300 town homes and single family homes in the Maryland and Virginia area. This experience led to his appointment as Manager of Homebuilding Operations for a national homebuilder in which he was responsible for the completion of over 2,300 homes. 

As Vice President of Warranty Services, Tom is responsible for his department addressing the concerns of over 2,500 homes delivered by Bozzuto Homes over the years. Tom has 30 years of hands on experience in the homebuilding business. He has received numerous awards for construction volume and quality. He won the Pro’s Award in 2001 for best Customer Service Manager in the Washington/Baltimore market. 

Tom is a  graduate of Fairfield University, where he played 4 years of intercollegiate ice hockey and lacrosse. He currently lives in Montgomery Village, Maryland with his wife Alice and two sons, Brandon and Riley.

     

 

KAREN S. KRUPSAW
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Karen brings over 20 years experience in real estate sales and marketing to Bozzuto Homes. Prior to joining Bozzuto Homes, she served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing with a regional home builder specializing in luxury homes and communities. In this capacity, Karen oversaw a sales volume of more than $375 million in a four year time period. She has held positions as Vice President of Corporate Marketing with two other real estate companies, leading the companies’ growth initiatives with a strong emphasis on market research.

Karen attended Boston University School of Management where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Finance. In 1994, Karen was a recipient of the Marketing Director of the Year award by Washington Metropolitan Chapter of MAME (Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence), and has been honored with numerous sales and marketing excellence awards. She currently serves as the Chairman of the Judging Committee for the Monument Awards, honoring excellence in architecture in the Washington metropolitan region.

She currently lives in Olney, Maryland with her husband and two children.  

     

 

D. SCOTT PETERSON
Vice President of Construction
Over the past 4 years with Bozzuto Homes, Scott has been responsible for the development, sales, construction, and warranty of a range of product types. These include high rise concrete condominiums, low rise stick built condominiums, townhomes, stacked townhome, and single family homes.  Scott has been involved with approximately 1000 housing units.
Prior to joining Bozzuto Homes, Scott spent 4 years with Pritzker Residential out of Chicago working on apartment projects, most notably the King Farm in Rockville, Maryland.

Scott attended Clemson University graduating with a BS degree in Building Science and Management. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Home Builders Association of Maryland.

     
     
     

 

CLARK M.WAGNER
Vice President of Development

Prior to coming to Bozzuto, Clark spent 16 years with the City of Gaithersburg in various positions. His major accomplishments are the author of the City’s award-winning Smart Growth Policy. He worked directly with the developers of Kentlands, Lakelands and Olde Towne Gaithersburg, which are prominent Traditional Neighborhood Developments in the region. He has developed over 1,200 total residential units over the last six years for Bozzuto Homes. Clark attended Towson University and obtained his BS degree in Liberal Arts. He also has a certificate in Landscape Design from The George Washington University and a Masters in Planning from The University of Virginia. He is also a graduate of Leadership Montgomery and remains active in that organization. Clark is an active member in local homebuilders associations and currently serves on the MNCBIA Board of Directors as the Chair of the Multifamily Housing Council. He continues to serve on a variety of governmental and industry committees and is a speaker on issues of Smart Growth and Traditional Neighborhood Development. He currently lives in Gaithersburg, Maryland, with his wife and four children.
